FLL Airport Expansion Project

Runway expansion project with unique features including a design-build bridge structure spanning existing US-1 road, multi-phase construction, 6 million cubic yards of embankment and 60 feet high MSE walls, Terminal renovations including construction of 14 new gates, and associated apron and fuel hydrant systems. ($1.3 Billion). The experience was obtained by PCI staff.
